Cuts can't come soon enough

There's still so much fat to be cut, the sooner we get rid of it the better.

People are sick and exhausted from applying, interviewing for and completing ridiculous forms for. Constantly competing for jobs that are posted as one thing and proven to be a different reality takes a toll. Been in your brand new role for 8 months that no one knows how to run or manage? Open to receiving anonymous feedback from anyone and having no way to rebut? Hope you’re Ready to apply and kiss as to meet with position owners and PDRs who don’t have the time to meet or really don’t give a crp about you. Cvx is so different than 20 yrs ago and not for the good. Do I stick around? For now, he-l yeah. I like my paycheck.

The fat that needs to be cut is the extreme salaries at the top. Workloads are already too much for average employees and morale is already very bad. So unless the cuts are to C suite and upper management then no more cuts. Cut the damn dividend or stop the stock buybacks. Don't keep punishing average employees all the time.

You can remove this piece of fat with one of those severance diet pills!

Transformation cut 15-20% of heads and reduced 1-2 management layers throughout. So, we met JGs requirements which he spelled out at the first Town Hall.

There is a lot of FAT at this company mainly in areas that are not our core business. They do we have soooo many people work in functions and areas that do not directly tie to the production of oil ans gas. You know supply chain, safety, HR, and IT.
