Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Future of CSR and Clinton Facility for the next version of ExxonMobil

Corporate Strategic Research, CSR in Clinton New Jersey is where frauds with lame PhD degrees who couldn't be hired anywhere else run amok. Where the cutting edge research is nothing but:

high school level pi chart and bar chart plots in powerpoint slides
paying hard earned EM money to university professors who don't even want to have any technical discussions with the CSR mo--ns after getting the funding to avoid wasting their intelligent time. Yet CSR shamelessly advertise university success as their own work
spend 70% of the time in I scratch your back and you scratch my back activities within the employees and managers to keep the facade of CSR value to the outsiders
Come here to find some of the most incompetent data science, material science, biofuels, catalysts, physicists, environmental science, computational science and life-cycle researchers and managers here.

Time for the Clinton facility to go during our next reorg.

@OP+1dyzkt3T The catalyst experts were in Baton Rouge EMPR . When they shut it down moved the units to Pausboro and Clinton it ceased being great. Did it make sense to move to Clinton from a refinery environment NO. Brilliant researchers in BR most didn’t relocate, lots of young PHD’s smart employees leaving Clinton, see the future here is grim. Just wasting hydrogen here now. No way we can survive total management incompetence on display in this zip code. Clinton is on the chopping block best case smaller EMRE presence in Houston or overseas.

Because then we in Houston will have to deal with the toxic incompetents. Keep them there and get rid of them directly from Annandale, NJ. We don’t need them here!

Why wouldn't they move to Houston? NJ is a huge cost sink for the Corp.

@uiq+1dyzkt3T why do you assume it was a guy? oh what if you are a female in EMRE you are pretty much high standing due to YL initiative

If the OP only knew that the superdoop warming gelatin he smoothes across his keyboard was developed at CSR and patented for profit.
Put a blacklight on it - it shines!

OP speaks the truth. Maybe not the whole truth (there is a small amount of good process/catalyst R&D), but it is the truth.
