Let’s get back to pay and promotion for performance instead of pay and promotion based on woke measuring or the buddy system. Doesn’t Intel leadership understand what happens when people are given raises and promotions for below average work? It’s no different than a government handout except it can ruin a company by alienating performers.

@vrn ...and so is AWS, Azure, Micron, Qualcomm and AMAT. Just that the engineers/managers from the subcontinent at Intel are substandard.
They go much farther down the woke rabbit ho-e and I’m playing the ace I’ve held onto for 20yrs.
I’m literally half Aboriginal American and can prove it (though I don’t look the part)….
Come on now folks , if your spouse or distant cousins were also minority with zero technical or other talents and still got hired by Intel and never got the cut - I highly doubt you would be complaining right now.

promotion for performance is a joke, if your manager doesnt like you then you aint get promoted. end of. we all work to live not the other way around. come in do your job, be a decent person and go home. if you can do that for a number of years then you should deserve a pay rise. simple as.
Intel is run like a regional bureaucracy on the subcontinent. The results speak for themselves.
