A new coach was hired at our store, she's worked a week or so. Yesterday she went to lunch and never came back.

O, please @wjj+1iEtyrlf, like no one checked up on her. She posted on Facebook about how hard the job was. Having to move pallets and such. Shame on you for assuming the worst first.
Had an associate who went home after a shift and did not come back. After missing 3 shifts we figured the associate had just quit. However another associate stated yes the associate was upset but had not said anything about quitting and they were sure if the associate was quitting they would have said something.
The associate in question was not what you call friendly or likable. And only had one family member nearby and they were not on good terms. After speaking with the family member. The family member stated they would check since they had to drop off some mail.
Sad to say but the associate is no longer with us.
Yes my club has had its fair share of associates just quitting without giving notice. And a few that did the went to lunch and never came back.
Hopefully she is alive and safe.
It's a shame that your mind would automatically think about a company before an individual's safety.
