I missed the call today. Did Saul address the revolving door in cyber security senior leadership? Did he set the over/under for number of CISOs in 2022?

You've got teams of people working around the clock to get this resolved. Would have been nice to thank them and call out the tremendous work they are doing when many of them were expecting to be on PTO and celebrate the holidays.
My spidey sense tells me that there's friction between SVB and CS. Several of the topics in the AMA included references to the bank's leadership, but nothing specific about the boss. I would have expected some comments like, "The direction that Charlie is taking..." or "Under Charlie's leadership...". Hmmm. Makes me wonder.

Time to start realizing the variants are getting closer to evading the vax. No vax is 100% but data is beginning to show people (both vaxxed and not) can be infected with BOTH delta and omicron concurrently. This is how we'll get the next, more powerful, variant.
Testing and isolating those infected is the way to manage at this point forward. The rest of the world - and places like NYC which has a HIGH vax rate but also HIGH testing rate - are already getting onto this plan.
You want this to get worse? Keep thinking vaxxed people are safe.

@wyk+1eljSuRE Not misinformation. FACT - vaxxed can be infected by covid and have NO symptoms and vaxxed can SPREAD it. Since vaxxed can still spread it, they would also need to be testing. Has nothing to do with how many and how bad, plain and simple. Doesn't matter if you are vaxxed or not, you can get it and spread it. SO TEST EVERYONE.

Instead, he told thousands of us that we misunderstood what he clearly said on the call. If thousands misunderstand you, it's not us, it's you.
@xpo+1eljSuRE - even though I was skeptical of him, he seemed genuine and trying to do the right thing, so I would give him the benefit of the doubt. Now, I don't trust him at all and all credibility for anything he says is gone.
And I just got my test kits for RTO. Self administered 15 minute tests. Looks like it will be self reporting on a website that's not yet available. Covid protection theater at its finest.

I wasn't on the call and not to totally defend him, but let's be realistic.
It's a big company, there's a lot to consider and things can change. Yes, there should be consistent policy/messaging, but this isn't exactly the a straightforward thing to deal with.
It is absurd that grown-a-s adults can't get their sh-t together enough to do what is best for society and their community!
@yrg+1eljSuRE CDC data shows that the incidence of COVID infections is MUCH higher in the unvaccinated. People need to stop spreading misinformation.

@xpo I was never crazy about him but to be blatantly lied to about something with so much impact on my life really amplifies my opinion. He explicitly said they were not going to mandate a certain number of days in the office and he directly contradicted that today. He took accountability for the call center wait times. He couldn't take accountability for this because he can't exactly tell us he was overruled by CS and SP. I can't stand that he tried to imply that thousands of us misunderstood though. It is disrespectful and insulting.

@yrg+1eljSuRE triple vaxxed and totally agree. I have home tests I take for when I'm going to be around people I don't see regularly (before and 3 days after) as well as when I'm around friends and family that I know are not vaxxed or are vaxxed but vulnerable.
Testing is a benefit for all, not a punishment for people who are not vaxxed.
