Either collectively strike or individually perish, RTO or quit. You have to be collectively committed long term but I rarely see that occur in America. Good luck in getting together collectively to make Walt and Co. change their minds. If you do decide to collectively commit, do it big with media coverage and the whole nine yards. No one yet has won this RTO war that keeps win over WFH in every company that has employees going back in.

You need to start a private discord for any true planning - not a site monitored by the company. And for the trolls?? Only management wants in-person and for employees who want to go in everyday, great then do that. No one is stopping you. But it is immature and unprofessional to call colleagues names and belittle them for not wanting to spend 3 weeks per year commuting to and from the office 3 days per week (more time per year than vacation),, who don’t want their kids in daycare 12 hours per day, who don’t want to budget an extra few hundred dollars a month for the “privilege” of working elbow to elbow with no privacy, who want to have the flexibility to actually have a life outside of the office. Last year Walt stated in a townhall that he would not be where he is today had Schwab not offered him a flexible work schedule when he first started. Think of the many women who have to delay careers to caretaker during a time when male counterparts are rising up the ranks. EC needs to be more diverse to take into account unique perspectives rather than what only benefits the demographic they represent. Diversity will not happen if we structure work as if it was 1960, completely ignoring the fact that productivity, profit, and engagement were at an all time high during WFH. It will be a while before the company enjoys hitting any “best employer” list.

While my salary before bonus exceeds $225k, I still don't see how someone's pay is relevant. I respectfully disagree with your broad characterization of Schwabbies expressing their concerns or limitations relating to WFH. It is important to acknowledge that people have diverse circumstances and challenges that may impact their actions or choices. Ridiculing others based on assumptions about their anxieties or health issues is neither productive nor respectful. This is the most hilarious thing I've ever read on this board. None of this is going to happen. If you wanted maximum visibility, you'd be out in front of Schwab locations picketing like airline pilots, but you won't be. You can't leave your houses. You don't even bathe. "Oh my anxiety! I can't be around other people!" "Oh my gluten intolerance! Somebody might cough up some wheat on me!" "Oh gas is too expensive with my six figure salary and benefits I earn. I might have to cut into my lego, pop tarts and po-n hub subscription!" Remember that south park episode where cartman and the gang are addicted to world of warcraft and can't leave their desks at home? When cartman has to call for his mom to bring a bucket so he can sh-t in it? That's you guys. LOL
