Anyone have access to the US hiring targets this year and BTC hiring targets? How about Canada?

OP there won't be any hiring in the US or any HC10 country. Only in India. Perhaps if a high potential dies then Darren might hire someone.
India Outsourcing Ltd - 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Sums up this shitshow perfectly!
No hiring in Canada at IOL (India Outsourcing Ltd). Their business plan is: pollute in Canada, employ in India, send profits to US.
We're a pathetic country. IOL is a disgraceful company.
@fvs+1pErCDBD Hiring freeze in Europe. It's all toast in the West.
In Global Projects, about 75% of our hiring is India for 2024. The rest is spread around the globe.
As we are rapidly shifting all of our workforce to India, the hiring is minimal in the US and Canada.

I don't think any of our SME's think Fortran is high tech, but try rewriting entire library of analyzer bias, control, signal validation w/o spending crazy money on validation / plant testing, That's the view you are missing. Any one can write code from scratch, not everyone can support legacy code in operation integrity speak while incorporating new technology. You can design the wildest looking building if are care free about cost / space utilization / community integration. Just sayin.
@xqu Or maybe they’re one of these “SMEs” who’s aged in place and thinks Fortran is high-tech stuff.
Watching these guys squirm and try to talk around/dodge basic technical questions during an interview is cringeworthy. I don’t think your engineers do any engineering.

Looks like OP is scared that he/she can’t find job outside and taking it out here. Must be a low performing middle manager, supervisor or advisor with no real marketable skills. This is life buddy, should’ve worked harder to keep your skills current. You coast, you’ll be a toast
