I hope the coffee badgers and the 10-2 people are happy- they've managed to get us all moved back to 8 hour office 5 days. I am very bitter that instead of managing the people that took advantage all of us are being punished. On my three days, i am often one of the first ones in and last one to go. This new practice is lazy, ineffective and will cause good people to leave. We've seen it during the waves- the high performers all find new jobs and the people that move are the middle and bottom tier. I am scared of our future.

“ In the Midtown building people were simply not in the office the majority of the day. Some came in early and left early, way before completing 8 hours. Others came in late and left early, again not completing 8 hours. I know, many are salary, blah, blah, blah. The point is many were given the flexibility to work a hybrid scheduled (3 days in office) and so many just on my floor abused it. If that was any example of what was going on elsewhere (I was told by friends in other locations the same thing was happening) these folks likely ruined it for everyone. There was really no reason for them to not work the majority of the day when they came into the office, it really suggests they had something else to do that required them to not work a full day. It's a shame most have to go in 5 days now / soon -- it really is the result of widespread abuse.”
Most of us took our early morning meetings remote, drove in, stayed til 2-3 went home then got back online til 6…but yeah had other stuff to do I guess.
Office is just unproductive.

Ah! Sounds like one of the whining cucks that goes and complains and worries more about what others do
All you can do now is make one of your 5 days an in office personal day. Pay your bills, make personal phone calls, handle personal matters as much as possible.
I gave too much to this company — if you haven’t done so already, don’t start. Try to keep a balance.
If you’ve already given too much, you can’t get that time back but you can give yourself some time.
The company would work you to death if you would let them. Don’t let them. Take care of yourselves.
Laughing at the mentality that believes there’s still a chance of reversing 5 day RTO…..
“You are naive. This was always the plan. They WANT people to quit. This was and has never been about productivity, efficiency, or hours worked. This is about lowering the employee count. This was always going to happen, but now they can convince you to hate your fellow employees instead of hating the people running this company.“
💯- easier to micromanage us if they keep us divided but we all know who the real problem is….Stankey and his ilk
“ They don’t care if you have a person at home to care for, or kids to pick up from school. They don’t care about traffic or gas cost. They don’t care if there are not enough desks in their hub.”
Nor should they.
When things go to h3ll after five they can stay that way until 8am on a weekday.
An HR boomer too.
Ew.
Gross….HR people, nasty.
“T is paying you for 8 hours of work in the office five days a week. You work out arrangements for all of your personal situation. Employers are not responsible for that.”
Oh. I was under the impression that I got hired to complete deliverables not sit in a particular place.
Unfortunate the company has pivoted fully to prioritize productivity theatre.
you are welcome!

“Myself and 5 co workers, all that had been working full days in office 3 days a week plus 20-30 hours weekly remote, told our boss together that we will all be opening our external searches for jobs immediately if we are required to come in 5 days a week.
Adios.”
From a person whose org required 5 days last year - they don’t care about your threats or promises to look for other work. They don’t care if you have a person at home to care for, or kids to pick up from school. They don’t care about traffic or gas cost. They don’t care if there are not enough desks in their hub. They.don’t.care. Trust me. We tried all that already.
Retired in September with severance pay and happy to not put up with this anymore. Excellent decision I am happy with!! Adios
T just followed the leader, like always. It was so predictable.
On my three days, i am often one of the first ones in and last one to go.
That worked out pretty good for... Hahahaha
You are delusional if you think this wasn’t the plan from the beginning.
Sure, especially when leadership repeatedly tries to sell the idea that loading up on a bunch of outsourced Indian labor for a company who's business is primarily in the domestic United States is somehow different from loading up on contractors.
Company's filled with nothing but deception.
Guarantee you the next thing they bi--h about is how many people are taking time off in December. They'll carve out a way to blame us, despite being the ones who forced people to quit through bullsh-t relocation mandates.
Only thing I can say is: turn off the phone, enjoy your time off, and let the outage fires burn. C-suite should learn to spin their own hamster wheel.
Don’t thank coffee badgers. They followed their orders. Thank toxic T and circus ringmaster Stinky. That’s who you need to target your anger towards, nobody else.
“In case you guys haven’t noticed the culture is broken. At@t needs change. RTO and new leadership is what’s needed for now.”
What’s wrong with the culture?
Stankey and others keep saying it’s lack of young talent.
Do you think the current actions of the company are attracting young talent or running it away?
Do you think young people are being retained by recent actions?
I graduated TDP 2 years ago and I’ll tell you most of everyone I graduated with is gone.
Most of the new TDP are looking to leave before they even graduate the program.
Do you think young people are looking to work for an under-paying 5 day RTO dinosaur and move to Dallas to work for a company that habitually lays large contingents of the employee base off?

Coffee Badger just takes what it wants.
Coffee Badger badass."
I've been waiting for someone to post this! Hahahaha.
T wants to make it as uncomfortable as possible. If you quit, no severance.
This was is/was the plan all along.
T is not over yet with the games.
"10-2pm is 4hours"
It's a half day, this is terrible.
No one will leave lol, and they know it.

“ You just made a strong argument for 5 days in the office! You aren’t fully engaged in meetings with presentations if driving and watching your kids during working hours.”
These people creating a work life balance aren’t and have never been the problem. These people start early and work late even if some of that time is remote - it’s still effective working.
The holes that ruined it were ones with side hustles and using WFH to babysit toddlers instead of getting a daycare. Don’t confuse small pieces of work/life balance with complete unethical behaviors. They aren’t the same.
Parents get preferential treatment re office flexibility. It's unfair IMO
“Many people have long commutes and children to pick up in crazy traffic. They may work 4hours in office but they’re also taking calls from their car.”
You just made a strong argument for 5 days in the office! You aren’t fully engaged in meetings with presentations if driving and watching your kids during working hours. This just isn’t possible.

Jokes on them then, I hated all you fu--s even before this.
They want you to hate each other. This was the plan all along.
Coffee Badgers 🦡
Been saying this was going to happen for over a year.
Imagine doing 3 days a week 8 hour days while coffee badgers got to basically work from home and now you’re being told to do 5 day RTO.
Coffee Badgers 🦡 knew this was Stankeys plan all along, which is why Coffee Badger 🦡 didn’t give a sh-t.
Maybe you should have listened to Coffee Badgers 🦡 and not been such a pathetic company drone and done what was best for yourself.
Just like those who lied about moving are getting to work from home as FOW for most of next year while you’re in the office 5 days a week.
Su-ks to be a boot li---r these days.
former high performer who left during wave 1 and found another job before my off date. my advice: get out asap while there are still jobs available. the job market is going to get worse. X # months of severance isn't worth a full-time job for the next year or two or forever if there are none left. hiring ramps up in November before the holidays start.
You're welcome!

That’s a U problem, not a T issue.
T is a follower and it will do what other companies do, I don't see coffee badgers making decisions for you
