RTO is absolutely driving me crazy. I'd quit tomorrow if I could afford it, but since I can't now I just keep hoping they lay me off.

I was fortunate enough to have been laid off in March. I could hardly contain my elation when my manager gave me the news.
Why is the axe better than just quitting?
It’s a sadistic game. Can they make you quit before they need to bump the stock?
I’ve been doing everything I can to make sure I’m at the top of the list for the next culling of the herd. Things at “the firm” are going to just keep getting wurster and wurster.
I wonder how many who come here are in the same boat of wanting to just get this sh-t over with. Drop the axe!
