Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

End of WFH

Alright fellow employees time for us to fight back! We cannot let these boomers get us to return to office without a fight. They are trying to take away time with our families even though we have proved our ability to be highly productive for over three years. Look what they are doing at Google and Amazon. We need to band together to protest. Let’s consider a walk out day like Amazon employees to send a message

I support. I'd like if we could coordinate/agree and plan for a certain date.

it is total bullsh-t and they are trying to avoid the bad publicity of layoffs. they already fired all the contractors with the transformation side of the company. some that had just been hired less than a month ago on a 6 month contract. I will absolutely be quitting

Brought to you by the same management that started the pandemic with call centers sharing cubes while Tda's management got them all WFH in a week. Good thing they got rid of all of those guys, huh?

Schwabbies: they WANT us to quit. They need attrition to cope with the serious managerial missteps over the years and yes that includes this bungled TDA acquisition. There are no good options here. Best of luck to you all.

Use your sick time before doing anything. Doesn't pay out when you leave.

This shows how much Schwab doesn't care about climate change. Forcing thousands of us back on the roads everyday for no reason.

What a morale ki-ler. After all the sh-t we have been through with this merger. To reward us with this. I hope a ton of people leave the company and the rest of the merger goes terribly.
