This will be a great show! #1
I think this is off by a decimal place at least. When they announced Elton John for Cisco Live, I looked it up and his private concert rate was more like 5M. On his farewell tour, which had longer shows, he made around $3mil per show. So 100M is unlikely.
He's playing Dreamforce in September too.
Lots on team arent going but the friends of the directors are. The one who love being drunk..

Don't forget pool parties, pr0stitutes and coke
This is $100M on top of the $200M to fly in sales reps to Vegas from around the world for 3 days to get drunk, play golf, and expense their gambling loses
Not a customer event
You want your investors to trust that their money is being used wisely, which can only happen with controls on spending. Shareholders will lose faith in the company and stop believing in ability to run a profitable business. In addition, a lack of trust from investors and shareholders will likely result in an inability to raise capital, leading to a loss of business opportunities, market share, and profits.
how many people can 100 mil save?
how many customers will feel obliged to buy after eating well and enjoying a good concert? and how much revenue is generated by this? probably much more than 100M
