Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

5G Reality Check , Multiple Years and a lot of $$$$$$ Before it replaces 4G

This is a great video from Marques Brownlee. 5G Explained. He went to Providence, Rhode Island to test Verizon 5G with a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. Line of sight within 30 Feet of the 5G Node Tower , Speed was outstanding but behind a building only 100 Feet away, speed was cut by a Third and sometimes went to 4G......100 feet from a 5G Tower. Wow. Ill let you watch the rest to find out more. What do y’all think???????

Hey um, -3mic, please, please back away from anything at natural news. It's one of the least credible news source out there. I'd trust the Enquirer over natural news. 5G radiation isn't any different from 4G. And high-freq RF waves are being emitted at safe levels.
Natural news, seriously?

all of you folks that believe 5g will be the next evolution in the industry should read. If these foolish companies go forward with this in the U.S. lawsuits will come out of the wood work in just a few short years. For you nay-sayers, go ahead and talk about those of us being concerned about the future as trolls or whatever. Just think of this, why have there been no overall tests in the U.S. of this new "safe" tech?

In other news, water is wet, Houston is humid, and when you are tall, it takes a long time to fall down. This was never, ever a secret. His comment about sub 1 ms, hmm. I think I only ever saw 5 - 10 ms as the goal for 5G.

Good thing you Union trolls aren't designing the network. Keep laying the pipe in the ground, let us do the thinking.

For real. when it comes out how dangerous 5g is as far as cancer causing, I wonder if the cell companies will be able to get around it and still push it out

Don't worry. Hans is working on a 5 Yee helmet antenna customers can strap to their heads so they can experience the miracle of 5 Yee wherever they go. It will come with a cancer warning, but 5 Yee is so worth the cancer!

U hit the nail on the head.

  1. 5g requires like 1,000 times more capital investment in order to blanket an area with coverage
  2. Speed is amazing, especially the next to 0 latency. BUT is it really worth what we are going to charge in most applications?
