Exactly talent transformation is about weeding out free thinkers , people who push the envelope and only taking people who fit that criteria and will blindly follow. Look the at the new VPs (KS , LA , WF, etc) and all the new directors.... yes people with no IT skills. And at the lower levels we see it more. Talent Transformation is just a fancy name and expensive program for picking more like SA and VG (skin color helps but all in yes people are equally good)
People developed coding and virtualization skills the past 3 years and were even certified in doing so and guess what happened? They were sold to infosys while uneducated yes people were retained. Don’t believe a word of it. Focus on yourself only.
It means you need to either develop coding and virtualization skills or you will be out the door.
As in we kept the sheep and yes men, and got rid of anyone with experience, a back bone or a half a brain.
We then hired a bunch of millennials desperate for work and who will stay 5 hours of over time with out being paid and promoted a bunch of women to really "transform" our work force.
Those faces will be infosys or yes man and women faces. People with different opinions will be gone
"Talent transformation." Believe the words. They were picked for a reason. My read of the words based on the meaning of the words is that 'the talent will transform to what we want it to or the talent will be transformed with new faces that fit that mold'.
