Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Organizational Health Index

So now AIG wants to know how wonderful its employees think managment is. What a joke. Supposedly confidential, but it isn't. And guess who is running it? McKinsey. I thought I was reading the Onion instead of email.

Agree with Post ID: @10uBYHVZ-4zjm. I am shocked that they would put so much into a useless survey when they don't even give employees that leave an exit interview. They don't want the feedback from these employees. I would think that that would be useful information. This company doesn't want to know really how employees feel. I really don't feel that the survey got to the real roots of what employees feel or think about the workplace

I agree with post-@10uBYHVZ-4tad. Not sure I understood the meaning behind asking for people that I respect. In my book, everyone contributes and provides value and deserves respect. So a better question is McKinsey planning to obtain a list of people to keep around? For those that are not on this list, would they be considered as disposable personnel? II decided not to answer.

The saddest part about the survey was I had a difficult time coming up with at least 2 people in the organization who I respected...That says a lot.

I took the survey. What a joke. Why don't they ask intelligent questions? Really McKinsey is handling this. Who was responsible for writing the questions? It was a very poorly written survey and it's really hard to convey the real Organizational Health of AIG through this poorly written survey. If they paid McKinsey to write these questions, they just wasted a lot of time and money.
