Are the next round of stores coming in groups or single add ons. I have heard from friends at h.e that october 1 and gone by 01 15 20 which makes sense. 10 15 19 dates seems to far out as it brings the closing to 01 30 20. Seeking other employment now however looking to hang on for as long as i can as i love my coworkers and will miss them. Is it always on the 15th ?

More store closures are happening next month despite what was said via spokesperson during last announcement a few weeks ago.
Eddie couldn't run a coin-operated gum machine. The coward stays holed up in his Florida mansion. A real man would face Judge Drain in person and explain his plan to move forward. Instead, this coward hides behind his attorneys' suits.
It's really interesting hearing from employees dealing with inventory issues (shipping inventory in/out), etc. Your insight is valued and appreciated. I'm sorry you're dealing with this stress, though.
We also just shipped out a ton of mdse. Apparel, seasonal, discontinued mdse. to closing store, after having six other stores transfer into us 2-3 weeks ago to get our instocks up. Seems like there is no set plan to go forward, same inept leaders at the top!
We shipped out all our summer clothes, footwear, lawn n garden, and discontinued various other departments. Our store looks like it's on its last weeks of closing. Customers can be heard saying while leaving, this store has nothing! All stores in our region were made to massively and quickly ship this mdse out to closing stores. If everyone is going down why go thru all this expense?

I went into a kmart that is supposed to stay open and it looks in bad shape. Also hardly any shoppers.
