hes not being paid peanuts....they are just paying him in a specific way so he does the bidding of the shareholders. pretty typical of how these ceo's and boards are being paid now. care less about the business and focus all efforts on raising the stock so you increase your own wealth too

given that when employees email him with concerns he has the gumption to actually respond and tell them they should seek other employment (how does corporate HR tell him that he should avoid doing these confrontations) im sure when he goes in the stores for photo ops theres a strong presence that you either pretend hes the king of the world or HE will surely make sure you get fired. its obvious no one wants corporate in their stores from SM all the way down. but what are you going to do when the death angel comes to your door....you smile...get quiet...and hope they pass over with little to no damage done.
