So December 2018 they hinted at 80 stores closing all month long and finally made that announcement after Christmas. There have been talks on here all month long about the same thing-massive closures happening (although we’ve seen less than 10). What are thoughts on it happening right after Christmas on that Friday just like last year?

@12AHLI7v-tyu Thanks for the laughs. You're quite the jokester!
@12AHLI7v-pok with that being said, I am guessing there will be another round announced in the next few weeks and those stores will be closing in April. And the very last round of closures will be announced in March with a June or early July closing dates. I just want this to be over already.

Again
LMFAO!
The final dissolution will be two rounds of closures. Liquidators are finishing up this round and will mover to the next round. It will take approximately 4 months each round
Sears is not closing down, just tossing some things around changing up the money making a bit. I know all of you hate your jobs so bad, and wish nothing else but shutdown but sears will be around for a long time to come. Hate to burst your bubbles but Sears is doing better than ever currently. Profits have tripled in revenue return. Get back to work or go somewhere else and stop being lazy wine baby millennials. You all may hate your owner and boss, but he happens to be my dear friend and I will not tolerate any more of the nonsense and trashing of a brilliant and successful businessman.

CARES.
The real question is, how many stores make it to the final round?
@12AHLI7v-ttd Second to last at least.
IF they do that it won't be the final round. That's my opinion.
Ofcoarse right after Christmas after they have squeezed the last bit of blood out every associate.
After they ruined everyone's holiday by MAKING them work Thanksgiving day and we made NO money.
After they give you hell for having a bad visit but you do not have enough associates to maintain the sales floor.

Again
LMFAO
Yeah they are probably going to do it after Christmas I'd feel.
Not enough stores left to have any “massive closure”
