Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Service technicians.

I wonder when the service technicians will start being laid off. Several teams merging, larger territories

That’s a real concern in Michigan. XBS techs plus Xerox direct equals too many people.

Uk techs being dwindled for a few years, laid off then reemployed doing the same job for an outsourcing company at £10k less a year, I can earn more fixing washing machines locally.
They dont want 'good' experience,they want a cheap warm body to smile at the customer.

@137oTKjF-okf is correct.

Tenure, success, and good stats usually mean "higher salary". But to the executive team that means "higher expense", so those with tenure, success, and good stats - and higher salary - are being laid off even more now.

A lot of our techs are high pto - low salary.

High PTO + Salary= bye bye
They will hire nugs, they are already laying off tier 2 support techs
Tenure, success, good stats will not save you, I know first hand
