I'm referring to the Imperial Oil Contract that a PSL lost mid last year. The PSL Country Manager is good friends with the Country Manager of the other Service Company who acquired the contract. Plus the CM and TSM "favorite" bailed out to this same company not long after the contract was lost. We lost the contract to pricing, so I'm someone "with connections" gave our prices away for a fee, future considerations, or both. I'm just tired of sitting in my cube wondering what other contracts we will lose while him and his attack dog are in charge.
The sales managers bonuses lost from contracts would be too great to justify taking small amounts of cash from competitors.
Even if your rumors is true, in the end I am left with an impression of office politics and trying to shift the blame for the divisions failures.

There are still a couple of incompetent mid-managers in Calgary who are still employed despite constant annual losses in market share over the past six years . Follow where the fluid flows, and you will find your way to Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. P.S., they are secretly being paid by other Service Companies to hand over the work to them.
You obviously are not aware of the real situation. Mid managers were the first to go last year on both occasions. Will be the same this time around.
That's why the ones that are retained are the ones they feel that won't speak up or upset the apple cart, the manipulative ones., that will will nod and say yes sir. And not question anything, yeah you! ... Honestly, it's quite odd that you have allllllllllllllllllllllllllllll these managers with uhhhh no business. Come on the emperor isn't wearing any clothes.
So what is new about that.... Before long. For every field hand. . You will have 3 mid management supervisors over the field hand. And 5 upper tier management supervisors over mid management.
