Probably a Scientology brochure slogan from the 70's not trademarked and copyright. "We come back"

I doubt CVX could capture the farts correctly. The processes we would come up with prior to the fart catching would allow the fart too much time to escape. Thus requiring numerous meetings to find out why we cannot catch the fart in time. Then a root cause analysis would be required. Of course by then, the person holding the fart would have already taken a 2 hour dump and the source would be lost.

Good thing no LNG plant is required otherwise it would be 2x over schedule and budget.

No LNG plant needed, @1tqg. We have enough useless upper management types expelling gas (Human Energy) everyday to fuel all the office buildings Chevron has for 100 years. All these saps should be sacked asap.

How about the great "Pathway" training that rolled out 10 years ago. It was just a lip service. Couple of years later the senior age employees knew that they were fooled. "PATHWAY" is pure slogan and feel good exercise.

LOL 1njf, all we need is a huge LNG plant to monetize that human energy.

Chevron and Big Oil in general is a great well-paying gig while it lasts. If you adjust your living expenses to half what what you take home and put the rest into savings & investment portfolio you are gold. If you buy the big house, the big cars, send your kids to ridiculously over-priced private schools, take the big vacations, spend like there is no tomorrow and marry someone who feels they are entitled to all this you are f^cked when you get layed off in a downturn. If you didnt think extended downturns were part of the grand bargain you are ignorant and uninformed. If you never thought it could happen to you, you are just plain stupid. If you are making fat bank and in debt when the music stops playing you have no one to blame but yourself.

I think that you're a joke if that's all you've got. Making fun of a petty slogan. Who cares? Is that why you are incompetent?

That's right. All these lame slogans with no management stewardship are a complete farce. If only these processes had some push behind it. If only everyone could have seen it exemplified by our so-called leaders, Chevron would have never gone through as much hurt as it is seeing today. I'm no longer with Chevron, but my colleagues will surely let me now what new slogans are invented to rally the troops after the layoffs are over. Just remember that whatever it is, it's only more BS from management.

The Chevron Way, The Tenets of Operation, We Lead, etc. It's all bullshit. Just posters, banners, email slogans, nothing but "propaganda". What a bunch of bullshit!!!

When I hear the words or see it written on a really big banner, "Human Energy" brings to mind one huge tripe-ripping Fart.

Excellent advice. Don't hitch your star to a company. The only thing that you can count on is yourself & your family (and sometimes only yourself.)

I don't disagree, but on some level we all know that right? It's all PR and nice words, but you are just one little number. On some level it works to your advantage because they don't tend to hold grudges either, chevron hires people back all the time, some I know didn't leave for the first time under the best circumstances. The bottom line is they are indifferent and don't really care ultimately....dont be offended because "Chevron" isn't thinking about you at all any more and it's a waste of energy. Just focus on keeping in touch with any of the special people that you did enjoy working with....at least that's what I'm trying to do and it's helping me feel better about the whole situation.
