@1jfy, just ignore the fool and he will go away. He continues to taunt because you and others give him attention.

If you think that the closed door selections are fair, you should have your IQ tested.
@GlR9CCP-1aqb -Thanks for repeating the same post over and over again, ASSWIPE; You post that every so many hours and on several threads without starting your own, adolescent ASSWIPE. Get a life. The topic's been discussed and closed. No truth to your rumor. STFU already.
Word going around that there will no longer offers Lump sum on pensions, they would rather hold onto your millions and make money off of it. They are going strictly Annuity. We all have seen this coming.....
Has nothing to do with your skills, background, or educational background. If you are kissing the right ass, you will be placed in a position.
The incumbent will stay if he desires. The only way you have a chance is he selects EOI or gets another job. There will probably be a list of candidates posting for that job so if your PMP ranking isn't higher than a 2 forget it. 2 is a 2- in this ROM
i don't hold out much hope except am going through the motions of selecting positions as I am suppose to ....
"Chevron Talent Optimization" what do you think??
Do us expats returning to the U.S. even stand a chance of another position ?
So you are saying that a candidate who is already in the role and very familiar with the position, assignments, personnel relations, and has the skill set developed will be considered by Chevron first before having to break in a new person?
That shouldn't be Allowed!!!!! That's heresy!!!
Yeah, unless they need to place some expat (or some friend).
by default the incumbent is already slated for the job unless they need it to place some expat
The OP posts what is seemingly a cynical comment about Chevron's ESP job application process, saying the candidates for the few jobs have already been selected. I'm sure Chevron would disavow that remark, but in this case, I'm afraid the poster is correct. For the most part, about 90% of the jobs being posted have a person's name already assigned to it. Still though, please go ahead and post for your favorite jobs, as some slated names are bound to have chosen other jobs they prefer more. If selected for another position, you may be the second choice and get lucky.
