The butthurt losers are the ones that lost their jobs and are exposing the mismanagement at Chevron. The fat slobs attacking the critics are anxious that the axe is coming for them next. I don't understand the mentality on this board of waiting for Chevron to fail like you really want that. I sure don't. Do you realize it is not only those great options the execs get that are at risk but our 401ks, pension, and of course our jobs that we are struggling to hold? Aspies, while being quite gifted verbally, have social, emotional, and sensory integration difficulties, among others. In this world, you won't get ahead to far without social skills or interaction. I had to look up Aspies. You are correct, -3qon. I don't know exactly what my point is or was, other than to agree with the OP, and offer a contradiction to what some of the replies were claiming. Chevron does indeed have some good folks within the organization. I grow tired of the "butthurt deadwood loser" guy. I just cant stand folks who delight in others misery or difficult times.

I am pretty sure that at least some of the most infantile, hate-laced vitriol spewed on here regularly, is from folks who were, are, or will be employed by CVX. Some of the posts I have seen on here, with the same repeated phrases and keywords(butthurt deadwood loser, being one), represent the absolute worst of humanity. It is one thing to be a dushbag in person, yet another entirely to be a DB on an anonymous message board. Some of the posters on here are really of a childish mindset, and have very poorly developed social skills.

Unfortunate, but as Icfq1Zt-xrk points out, this board is open to anybody and everybody. One only has to follow updates to realize that there is at least one troll who continuously uses the same profanity, insults and bitterness to attempt to derail any meaningful dialog. Too bad the site doesn't have some sort of filter that automatically rejects posts that contain key troll trigger words (like butt hurt, deadwood, douche bags, using mommies PC).
My suggestion to all thelayoff.com chevron readers is to ignore rather than attempt to refute troll threads. A response is just a platform for a follow-up rant. And as can be seen be xrk's post, from someone who has/had no ties to CVX.
