Here, as you know...things are changing on a daily basis. No surprise to receive an email on a Sunday night saying a new 1:1 with your manager. Everyone is on pins and needles.

Wouldn't mind seeing a weekly, continuous progression of people out the door. Would really like to see the overglorified engineers who call themselves "managers" released. These people don't know d--k about management.
I can't imagine how this company is going to turn around and get the employees to stop being paranoid, stop backstabbing, etc. It's a very toxic atmosphere and I'm very glad I'm gone.
Yep. Sunday night 9 PM email to meet first thing on Monday morning is the way it will continue to be done. People are numb to it now and should be scared. I could only imagine all the one upmanship going on in the company as people try to save their jobs. They'll lie and do anything else to secure it. Do much waste in the company and the revenues do not show the need for the bloated population. Obviously Intel is a shrinking company and these issues will be dealt with.

I don't know what any of these responses are talking about.
The comments on this post are a tad confusing. How some responders came up with the fact that it's a woman vs a man, only has a HS diploma vs higher education, and a penny counting grandma (said in various ways) had me recheck what the OP actually said because I thought I was reading responses to a much different post.

I got same 1:1 email. I also see an HR name on the invitation. 15 years at Intel SC. No S4/S5 in past Focals. Management has always stroked my ego by saying what a big contribution and impact I have been making. Now they are going to cut me. FML.
Are you saying you or someone you know got one, OP? Or is this just months old news?
