Executives at AT&T spend billions to get top content brands HBO, CNN, Batman, Cartoon Network and many more...smart moves...VZ spends billions on Ho-HUM, Gone90, VaHoo, AwOL & Jaime Fox....just a mess!! Smart matters, relevance matters, intelligence matters, Executives matter.... Lowell & cronies are incompetent...they have destroyed the company with very bad decisions...they all should be fired!! RIFs will continue on this Titanic!!!

AT&T is awful and I refuse to call their 800 line anymore, I just won't do it. I have been abused by this Company for the last time. This will be a catastrophe if they buy another media Company.

Uh yeah....Go AT&T. They used this circus act Timer Warner deal to distract everyone from their piss poor Q3 earnings.
This deal is DOA already, and AT&T is desperately scrambling in trying to find a new business model amid its dying wireless business. Sound familiar?

When you pick the 5th string quarterback to run the company, backed by a 4th string foul mouthed CFO - last place it what you strive for, and last place is what you get.
AT&T is not in a better place. They have just as much debt as Verizon and are trying to pull off this deal leaving them with additional debt. They treat their employees like $hit just like Verizon. They hate and screw their customers just like Verizon.
Wake up people AT&T is not where it is at. They are $hit just like Verizon.
I also like how att continues to expand there gigabit Internet broadband service. Unlike VZ who doesn't care about landline and left a lot of areas stuck on Copper. Even cities where fios is available they left a lot of areas incomplete.
Also love how att landline and wireless are union. Wish wireless workers would wake up.

Verizon went from being a company that could acquire value to a company no one would want to waste time acquiring. Better does matter... it's just not with Verizon.... TMO is getting the adds. ATT isn't but it's making smart strategic decisions. And with all the layoffs, there are still multitudes of inept individuals who just adds to the mediocrity of Verizon.
VZ ain't winning!! Gone are the glory days, lost great/smart talent - now they are left with Lowell and the other lame ducks!! AT&T will be top dog....and all of the other data savvy companies. Now they've sunk to buying stale companies...new brand - Declining Matters!!
