Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Watch the town hall and listen to RG talk about SLOG and BHAG. He never defined Follett's BHAG's. Could it be they don't know or have one? The definition is presented below.

BHAG stands for Big Hairy Audacious Goal, an idea conceptualized in the book, “Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies” by James Collins and Jerry Porras. According to Collins and Porras, a BHAG is a long-term goal that changes the very nature of a business' existence.

Follett's bhag? ruin the morale of the employees who contribute to the success of Follett. Lay off the worker bees while senior leadership goes untouched. Make numbers at all cost to the long term health of the business.

Perhaps that BHAG is included? book fairs? starbucks?

Senior management isn't doing so well considering that Follett is STILL cutting benefits and laying off employees. Five years in and the death spiral continues.

Got to love it. Clearly the original poster is a moron who thinks he/she knows better how to run a company. If you knew better then why aren't you in senior management?
