Poor Murphy... I am sure BK convinced them with lots of 💸💰 and that they would have free reign to change things. But it would be like a leader of the navy seals descending into leading the Turkish army... I don't care how brilliant they are they will fail.

Wholesale change at the top thru the bottoms has to happen and with BK at the top failure is certain and more ACTs are coming.

Can anyone name onetime an external senior executive that was successful at intel, they all came and failed and left.

Billions wasted with hundreds of million in compensation spent and failure, GO BK GO more ACTs to come!

@1adu - Yup. Just as BK chases after fads of the month, he also has the "new executive of the month" thing. This guy is totally driving Intel to the ground, so sad.

Murthy is old news now. He leaked a scathing memo and scared the worker bees. Now BK's boy toy is the ARM guy who is going to save Intel in IOT, self driving cars and wearables. He'll be shoved aside too in 6 months buy a new executive hire for drones or foundry biz. The new car smell and fresh blush of hope and change wear off quickly now.

Poor Murphy is so overwhelmed with how broken and slow intel product design is.

He also thinks it can be done with half the people and twice as fast. So ACT2 in 2017 will include about 8k from product and another 8k from TMG and 4k from marketing, sales and corporate services
