6vqd - Must be another loser VP trying to protect his/her job in TTS. Heck I think that sounds like the big kahunas themselves. Exactly the kind of thinking these losers are not capable of and will work harder to defend the staus quo rather than reexaxming it. Shelving is roboticized, customer "checks in" - so not sauntering in, (don't understimate the art part -- its 90% analytics if you have AI integrated into shopping behavior. have the tech to manage a physical instock - sure...but there is a dramatic decrease in labor... Of course, stuff is going to go wrong but the paradigm is being redefined but don't worry you keep on trucking cowboy towards your demise... no worries.

4jqt: Amazon GO = Nothing could go wrong there. A bit of a difference Amazon: Ordering stuff online -p Consumer picks, clicks and time ticks until its fulfilled and arrived. Go = Consumer enters a store, retailer has to actually purchase the correct merch that consumers (don't underestimate the art of this part) will buy, keep it in stock on the shelf (yes a human will have to put it there in the first place), have the tech to manage a physical instock (something Amazon has the amazing luxury of not dealing with online) and then purchase it without any direct interaction from the retailer to the consumer.... Yep, nothing could go wrong here. Can't see any scenario where a consumer could have a bad experience at all.

As Amazon unleashes Amazon GO, these losers for the last 15 years, outsourced to TCS, Sapient - huge champions of it before they turned against it when the wind blew the other way, absolutely destroyed POS for Pharmacies, made Dot Com into a sleeper cell and virtually destroyed the supply chain by dicking around it. I also blame the other loser VPs/SVPs in business and strategy who never stood up to them and just were busy saving their own careers. Now the whole shizzle is coming to an end. Unless the other VPs & SVPs stand up and revolt and ask for them to go away, these clowns will be sitting around destroying Target forever. The day they clean these jokers up and their croonies and get rid of the India operations is the day Target ever even has a chance of coming back.

Of course they are, they have been a waste of time and have been part of the disaster from which Target will never recover from. They have single handedly destroyed TTS across the board

FYI @1lsa, name naming not allowed at this site. I made that mistake few months ago, admins nuked all my posts and blocked my IP (writing from proxy ever since, super slow).

No one who can utter nonsense in Americanized accent will be laid off. Haven't you seen them wearing suits and delivering speeches they themselves don't understand ?

Do not question decision making of target brass. We have hired heavily to keep idiots off Bangalore streets.
