3zmn, I grew up in a rural area of the country and hold three degrees, 2 of them post-graduate, but no PhD. In my 36 year career I have met and worked with many PhD's and also even more who learned the old-fashioned way, from hard work and experience in the field, degreed and non degreed. Not in all cases, but on an average, the non-PhD's were much more valuable, brighter, and competent. That's just a fact. The PhD itself is just a goal that was achieved, as are my degrees and not a measure of competence, effectiveness as an employee, success, or intelligence. Some PhD's pale alongside other degreed people, and non-degreed, in many cases. I may be what some people would call a "redneck", but not a racist as you seem to be. I suggest you refrain from posting if all that you have to contribute to the discussion is the unintelligible clueless gibberish that you just did.
