Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Another failure confirms intel future is limited and more ACTs are certain

Looks like the latest advanced low power / low cost sever chip has a serious problem. A problem of the worst kind it dies in the field and your product don't work.

This is another SoC failure. So even if an SoC makes it into the field it is a failure. Let's not talk about the billions spent developing Tablet and Phone SoC. Imagine if some poor company really selected them and we had a intel powered brick of a phone or tablet by the hundreds of million. Intel and management is a one trick pony and that pony is dying as x86 beyond servers is all contraction. The ARMy is coming for the servers on 10 and 7nm powered by better process, better SoC design and the power of a billion plus volume!

Now look forward at IoT and all the other initiatives, SoC baby😱

@LTNrZ8P-1tkl The stories I have from PPM are priceless nuggets of how not to manage things. Not surprise one bit how and why we are seeing this and more is to come 🤔😉

This is what happens when program managers dictate to engineers how to prioritize their development time. When schedules are the kings in an environment where 50â„… of time goes into decision making, quality is a an ICU patient on IV drips.
