Today's news has left me and at others in shock. To promote this type of person to arch leader is just bad logic. Not surprised business is so bad. Anyone got inside track?

I think it's a great decision. It's about time that bunch of reactors getting paid for other people's work, started having to earn a living.
No one is saying who this person is so I'm guessing this thread is just another load of nonsense.
We're all still struggling to get your meaning here. Can you maybe provide a clue to point people at a CEC article?
Who has been promoted? In to what position?
@2kwe I think you are right and it's working. Lots of jobs out there so why live in fear,
Can someone explain what's going on?
@2tdk: And maybe that is part of the plan. Purge 10% every quarter and scare the living sh!t out of the other 5-10% you also want to get rid of. This other 5-10% would see themselves in that 'target rich environment' (i.e. > 45 years old, > 7 years @ Cisco and Comp Ratio close to 1), read the writing on the wall and run for safety saving Cisco the cost of an LR package.
Maybe Fran is smarter than we give her credit for......nah!
Forget LR, people are now going to leave by themselves with this type of move. Joke leadership in U.K.
Who you talking about?
Easy pickings for Microsoft then. Just a shame Cisco sacked all its collaboration sales team..... great leadership insight there!
