Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

It seems like much of teams and engineers who ever worked with me or I know moved from JF to ES line, is it mean they survived? It' BS!

Wim is suddenly very actively tweeting about Linux on SPARC, and "stay tuned for plans".

The ones that moved to ES org will do Linux instead of Solaris or other HW as needed (not SPARC). What's BS about it? Some of the good people were moved because they had skills needed but if you're in JF's org your number is coming up. HW isn't core business to Oracle, losing revenue and customers. They only one buying the hW is Oracle itself to support all the cloud business in the data centre's.

No one survives in a company that is dying.
