A great example of how companies fail

Looking at Digital Transformation, led by Sandy Hogan, an organization of 400 employees and still trying to hire more, bringing absolutely a rounding error of value to the compnay.

Same like S+CC, and others, all were also bringing insignificant value to the company except keeping some people in positions, promising share holders of billions of value at stake and good amount of slideware activity, all of which was coming with a very high price to cisco.

And when we let go, we let go the people who makes the difference and we keep such parasitical organizations to survive and grow fat.

A good reason of how organizations fail. And the examples are numerous.

@1agh. Not shut down, broken up into three theatres, reporting into theatre leadership. There's no news on what the current leader will be doing yet, or what has prompted this change halfway through Q3.

And the news today is that DTG has been binned as a global organisation. It's being broken up and passed back to the theatres.

So many organizations create bogus metrics to justify their own jobs. It's amazing to see the amount of money wasted on strategic initiatives that generate ZERO business value. Cisco has recently posted videos with SVPs & VPs claiming certain initiatives are adding significant value to the company.

I know for a fact, the business value is completely inaccurate. Merely surround yourself with yes men, and tell a story involving the latest buzzwords.

OP, check the site rules, names not allowed here. Although i don't see anything derogatory stated, not sure if this thread is going to live another day. Site admins can be brutal if you violate one of their rules.
