Calls pertaining to a launch would not be designated as "No Deleagates". Only changes that have that are usually HR and workforce reduction related.

I wonder if the stores will be closed or transferred to authorized retail? Is this what was supposed to happen January 27th but was pushed back?

Or maybe the call is regarding the S8 launch? I wish someone who knew something would say something.

@1vau: Who's talking about Verizon's web site? The competition is eating Verizon's lunch.

There's no way, NO WAY, Verizon can compete with the flurry of MVNO's out there.

Stores s---, the experience customers have in them creates an even worse perception of Verizon and it's already one of the most hated brands on earth.

Now go make sure you slam some pull throughs and accessories on your victim, I mean customer...

The problem is VZW's eCommerce site is still worse than $hit. Cutting retails means cutting overall sales.

National AMs will be obsolete just like T-Mobile . Cheaper more efficient to have temp service visit and inspect POP and useless training.

I don't when or who will be impacted, but anyone can look at Verizon's balance sheet and see they have a major cash flow problem.

They simply do not have enough cash to service their debt, pay their dividend and pay for all capital expenditures. They are billions of dollars short.

Operating costs MUST come down. Reducing headcount is the low hanging fruit to cutting operational costs. Closing stores or transferring them to authorized retailers is another.

Rumors are stores are going down to 2 SMs per retail location unless they're an "A" store. The layoffs will be nationally.

VZW retail store hours are being cut as well.

Also heard the possibility of Nat. IAMs being eliminated, having a 3rd party company overseeing those accounts instead.

@1fos

Dream on. No one is safe at Verizon. Brick and mortar is dying a slow death to e commerce.

Something is going on. There have been last minute calendar invites sent out for mandatory calls on Monday with no description as to what they pertain to. No delegates. Something is coming.

No confirmation yet, but considering they were already hit within the blast 2 years they may be safe
