Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Insane Pace of Layoffs

They haven't paid their employees corporate credit cards in 4 months as well as WFRing people at an insane pace. Or most other bills from what I have heard. i have Am EX calling me daily threatening collections even though it is approved business travel and they know it. Can't get a reply from expense email we have to communicate with them either. I'm at the point where I think I need to speak with an attorney and show them the proof because they could care less about any of us being sent to collections apparently. Something fishy going on when they are all marked as "paid" in the system for the employees, but they are not actually paid.

That was because of a system issue they say. Smoke and mirrors I say they know what they are doing. Least when first quarter is over soon maybe they will pay the damn bills for their employees. If they aren't in collections already..

Ive heard they are not even paying the hydro bills in some of their buildings and vendors are waiting for their last 3 months of operating costs to be paid.

@Ok3vmuV-3nzk there are no sane people left.

Mikey rules with an iron fist, you either kiss butt and follow the line or you are out of the door.

Its been like that since day one of him arriving at CSC.

Management are not free to make any decisions of their own, only one person calls the shots.

This mad dictator style of CEO is the difference between HPE and CSC. Sure, HPE were shedding people, but NOTHING like Mikey did with CSC. Think of Meg as Mussolini and Mikey as Hitler. Neither are nice, just one is much more crazy about achieving their "vision".

Watch the Eric Harmon bum's video on mydxc. That guy is another painful mckinsey product - blue eyed boy of Meg Whitman - Ran ES to the ground. Hope some sane CSC guys kick his a-- and get him out.

'Just keep paying the penalty '?? Who is buying DCX services anymore? Seriously where are the peasants with pitchforks?

So true their mind set (top) is who cares about the future.. I had been in customers site that was missing SLA and paying over 6 digit penalty every month. When escalated the need to get more resource to mitigate penalty (not to mention customers satisfaction -retention), we were told don't worry just keep paying the penalty... yes, this is the work ethic and mentality of the "leadership" landed this organization where we are today ....

Its just to leverage on more credit.. so keep postponing payment even though some interest will accrue. But who cares about the future ? as long as the management gets paid out their big bonus this year itself

Cloud, always drink on cloud reference. Right shoring is good -it won't be Your Shore but it will be right.

I love this idea!

'Don't forget to tune into the call, I'm sure some CSC people could give you the rules of The Mikey Analyst Call drinking game. Everytime you hear a trite phrase you have a shot. The alcohol dulls the pain of the axe which comes the following day....'

As I'm in the U.K. It will be the perfect time in the evening for a drink or two. So, what are the buzz words where a shot is to be consumed? I'll start with headwind, fluctuations and value capture. Feel free to add more, I need more than three shots to numb the pain!

Nothing got paid in Q1. They are desperately trying to make the Q1 numbers by any means possible.

I've heard rumours that even then they haven't managed to get to where Mikey told the analysts he'd be.

As an ex-CSC'er when this happens heads roll in regional and country management, despite the actual cause of failure being the only person who calls ALL of the shots.

I don't know how HPES used to roll, but suspect some of the former HPES management are about to discover the Mikey shark tank technique.

And then he will talk on the Q1 call about currency fluctuations, market headwinds and his new strategy direction (which will remain the strategic direction until exactly 12 weeks later, when it will be something completely different)

Don't forget to tune into the call, I'm sure some CSC people could give you the rules of The Mikey Analyst Call drinking game. Everytime you hear a trite phrase you have a shot. The alcohol dulls the pain of the axe which comes the following day....

They aren't paying any of their vendor partners either, I work for one vendor who is owed well over $20M and each time it is escalated, it gets ignored. Glad to see nothing has changed between HPE and DXC.
