I cannot get any info on Simple Store or One Touch at all other than a few Pebble posts with higher ups bantering about how well it is working for the stores that are doing this.

yes Backroom lead will go along with a few others sadly. Our store to our surprise does well without a BR lead.
@egg I am with you here egg thats what I see to at this point LP is useless people are still stealing its very shrunk they are a waste of payroll. Also in my store we have 3 ASM and 1 Manager he isnt doing anything productive he hides in the back ir chaos happens he lets it happens he wont go help he also should be fired.
Same in our sears store.
Part timers in the backroom in our store pull no shows or call out....If they eliminate full timers, the managers and cashiers will be unloading the trucks including tractors and appliances...because nobody will show up from a part time backroom team.
At the end of the day what is the real difference between "simple store process" and the hour cuts that the backroom receives??
Usually the backroom lead is doing MPU by himself and when there is a MPU associate they are by themselves.
They need to cut more LP all they do is watch us while we constantly find empty packages all over the store. ANNOYING!
YES!!!
Yes. This concept is being used by many retailers and they will only need a few bodies in back.
Most likely. You will still need a few associates for mpu. That's about it
