does google hiring janitors from cisco? i want to moving in google too. is janitor in google eat food as free like enginers or food not allowed for janitor.
For me, compensation is 25-30% more than at Cisco, where I was already in the upper compensation range.

Why would a software company hire someone from Cisco??? Cisco doesn't do software.....
Me too, I will be starting at Google at the end of this month. Bye Cisco and the constant never-ending layoffs drama.

Went on a campus tour years ago, their new hires were all wearing these propeller caps. There was literally over a hundred new hires, walking around in a herd. There was a another group of employees working outside, all sitting on a brick retaining wall, working on a project. We walked by, most of us wearing business dress; they looked at us like we were from outer space. One particular employee looked like he hadn't slept in weeks. Have a friend who has a relative just out of college that worked there; they had a tough time keeping up with super long work days. Take good care of your health.
