I got confirmation that cloud architects are being layed off in EMEA.
Any news from OOW about that ?

As far as I know, ECA is the safest position so far.
Every SC and specialist became a Cloud architect after some online training.
How many cloud "architect" does Oracle has?
@edv - you completely underestimate the stupidity of the 3 stooges. You understand the chasm; they don't - they'll just have the newbies in the call centers make a few calls, that should take care of it, don't you think? LOL!
Has HD - the guy who runs Cloud arch in the US - actually quit? If so, this rumor is true.

Sorry to hear that but it does not make sense. We're right in the adoption battle. You still need those Cloud architects to draft the proper migration paths. There's still a chasm to cross ;^)
