spi - It’s an assumption. LTIH as we have known it is going away, but no concrete evidence whether it is entirely going away in the future or not. The positions you see online for FCM are likely for network positions with contract agencies.

Do you know for a fact they are getting rid of MY IN or is just an assumption? I just noticed an FCM position posted for HAH on either LinkedIn or Glassdoor. Showed up in my email the day after layoffs.

LTIH is going away. All aspects of it will be changed. They may offer you another position or may not. Apparently some states are not accepting LTIH. So they are getting rid of the whole thing. Yes, DM got moved to another spot. They take are of their buddies.

Exactly, poster below! What are they getting out of talking down to people worried about their jobs? What is the point?

Why are there so many judgemental ah*les that come to this site? I know I’m a judgemental ahle, but generally don’t come HERE looking for golden nuggets of wisdom or direct answers, but to piece together some truth we can’t get at work. Not to be the moderator & tell people what they can or can’t post, or play some associate that thinks their sht don’t stink. YOU ARE ON AN ANONYMOUS LAYOFF SITE

No promotion I believe. He's joining the "Home Health Transformation Management Office". I personally have never heard of this group. Humana is buying a Home Health Care Company so it may be related to this.

No worries. I always complete my documentation in time and see my member's. I spend well beyond required time making calls and doing the most I can for my member's. I actually love this job. I have been working with a network agency for over 2 years. Right now I have 25 member's but they are getting moved out at a much faster pace these days. We are kind of in the blind out here. My agency tells me just not to turn down any referral's. My biggest stress is the thought of starting all over with a new job. I really can't imagine how stressful the environment at Humana must be for the onsite associates. I really feel badly for them.

"OP...we haven't heard anything DM in over a year...what have you heard about him moving?. No news has come our way yet though I am not surprised."

Hello????what does that statement mean.."we havent heard anything DM in over a year"... Is this a lay off site for a particular group of people..like phc's or che's.. this is a site for Humana not a certain group of people it is visited by alot of people....

So I will ask my question again.. does anyone else know anything they can share about DM and why he took a new role? Thanks

I'm assuming by your comment you have never had to worry about finances. Good for you, seriously. However, if someone is in a situation where losing a job would be detrimental to one's family, well-being, future, then of course it would be hard to focus. I mean why do people like you come on this site? Why did you feel the need to undermine posters feelings? Seriously! Poster didn't say they are not putting mbr first, just having a hard time with worry. Just think before you speak.

It should not be hard to do your documentation and schedule members because you need to do the right thing and put the Member first. It is your job to do that.

What do you mean by "contracted"? Do you work for a network agency?

As long as an agency has members to see and CMs to see those members, both will be in business. If HAH "discharges" these members out of the HAH programs and an agencies census drops, that obviously affects the members an agency has to manage and therefore the number of CMs that the agency needs.

What I have seen is if a CM's roster or census drops to the point where they cannot support themselves, they leave. If an agency cannot obtain or keep a large enough census to be profitable, they close up shop and the CMs join another agency contracted with HAH, become independent contractors and work with HAH, or leave the field altogether.

I had a previous member call and leave me a voicemail, ask if I were being laid off. I am contracted with HAH program, will no doubt be the last to know and first to go. Very hard to continue with charting and scheduling member's when not sure of employment. Dusting off my resume.
