Any news on engineering network?
I think he's talking about RF as in RF Engineering. The people who design the towers.
@OP: it is RIF - Reduction In Force
Before most of the wireless network job postings were removed from VZWeb earlier this week I happened to read the description on a few (2) NA Engineer posts. Job said it included work in the MSC. What’s happening to the Switch Techs?
Good luck tomorrow?
All of NJ Engineering to be hit tomorrow , we were told to be at our desk in Morning tomorrow
NJ and Pa?
Network Assurance is the new name for cell site technicians with upgraded responsibilities.
Whats assurance ?...ive been out since may and jobs i am seeing include vendors doing cell integration, interferance hunting and drive testing...my old job ..but they look like fun factories for teenagers...what is younger than a millinial that works for 12 an hour
Tomorrow is the big day. Good luck with RF and SP. I hear some outsourcing is cheaper than keeping you guys around.
Assurance is the place to be
Haven't heard anything. RF is usually pretty safe and where I'm stationed we're understaffed. SP is probably at greater risk and many of their functions have been handed off to Assurance.
