I don't know of a matrix at that time. You were given a yearly amount of students you needed to enroll for each start and we're pressured constantly to enroll unfit candidates bc there weren't enough leads. So instead of working for the incentive of cash per student, you were working to avoid being shamed in meetings if you didn't perform, or you would be put on a performance plan then fired or bullied by management if you failed to meet numbers. At one point a regional director emailed a list recognizing ADAs who were were exceptional at "customer service" ranked from high to low in how many applications they took that week. It was very clear on the floor what was happening. The phrase often used was produce or perish.

@QnSjGFb-3cds, I wasn't being coy. Justice Defender had credible evidence that EDMC was using a matrix-like system, but there wasn't sufficient information to do anything. That was in 2014-2015. If there is anyone who has current information about a matrix-like system, I'd like to know about it, and will forward it to my sources.

I checked through my emails and did find the emails from Justice Defender in 2015. JD provided plausible information about how EDMC was using a matrix-like system for retaining and firing enrollment counselors.
Justice Defender and I communicated several times, and I forwarded the information to David Halperin.
I wrote my last email to Justice Defender on 12/7/15 but JD didn't respond. I also asked for documentation, but JD did not provide any additional information.
If anyone knows that their schools are still using an illegal matrix-like system for retaining or firing enrollment people, please let me know. But I need sufficient documentation to go forward.
