Grenville plant manager out at the end of the month

To bad it was not the Schenectady 273 plant management team and plant manager. Combined they have about 9 years of leadership knowledge. To this day they do not know the difference between a field and a rotor or the difference of prototypes of the parts! The union is very weak and the layoff rules are lopsided to the point of manipulation for favoring butt sniffers. Ya GE Power is in trouble many layoffs in the works for Schenectady.

GE management loves bullies. If you can figure out who to bully and who to be bullied by, you'll go far.
Sudbeck has been a lump for many years. He has no management skills other than being a bully. He hangs around thinking he'll get the plant managers job.

GE’s Ombudsman system is a joke because the complaints go to those who are the problem. The Greenville Facilities leader is a perfect example.
He’s never there even when he is there. The only time you see him on the floor is when he needs to vacate his office for blowing it up with sauerkraut farts. As for the the facilities leader. He must have some dirt on someone. There is no reason he should be in role. He has had numerous ombudsman calls against him. And he keeps coming out on top.

They are all looking for Jobs anyone at the Greenville site that is not should be doing so yesterday!
Does anybody know who is replacing him yet?
The facilities manager needs to go with him. All he does is talk loud in meetings as he thinks a louder volume makes you correct. He is simply not qualified for the position.
He wouldn't be running away if it was good. But he wasn't a good leader, so who knows how it will pan out?

-1jyh. Greenville is in a good place to succeed and have a long term future (unlike 1950's-stuck-in-a-timewarp Schdy). It's Gas Turbines, good engineers, and non-union. Greenville isn't going anywhere. Management change-out can only make it better, at least that is recoverable. Schdy is not recoverable, the rest of GE in the 21st century wish it would just go away.
I really wonder how long it will be before Greenville closes down for good. The failure of Power Services to make more deals means the plant will be running out of options to remain open.
