Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

To all the remaining HCM-RN and HCM-SS's, please utilize the CHEs as much as possible!

Right now the CHEs jobs are hanging on the edge. Please task them as often as possible with as many tasks as you can! There are only a small amount left in the role after all the cuts in 2017. They were spared in this last round, but without your tasks they won't be around a month from now. Who couldn't benefit from 5 Wishes, OTC, or Silver Sneakers? Don't forget the recorded consent line too! The CHEs are there to help you out. Utilize their services as often as possible!

It is my understanding that CHEs are able to send HW docs if you include a note in the task about system issues preventing the CM from being able to send it.

@RFxL1qG-1yri That was beyond uncalled for and VERY strange. You may want to consider EAP.

Thank you CHEs for all you do. I appreciate the WHOLE Humana team. I don't understand or share RFxL1qG-1yri's perspective. I found that comment to be offensive and unhelpful.

I for one dont want them gone. I value what they do to help me do my job. We already have to do HW and we all know how well that's working. Imagine if we do go to autodialer and no rosters. We won't have time to breathe much less send all our own resources and do recorded consents.

As a RIFd coach I can tell you that I sat in on meetings where it was decided that the CHEs were to be instructed to send tasks back if they didn't fit within the guidelines. GUidelines that you all were given. You have to remember that for a long time the CHES had to not only do tasks but also make a certain amount of successful calls. We also were fully staffed with HCMS, SSs and PHCs who tasked a lot. If we lost a CHE to attrition, their position was not filled per COMs. Despite that, they were still well within the 10 business day standard in mailing out resources. If there was special projects like helping with MDATS or IVR, CHEs were pulled from their regular duties to assist us.

Maybe they could look at having so e CHEs work later hours to accommodate West coast calls. I have found the recorded consents to be much more efficient. You can never count on families to mail the paper copies in or to fill them out properly. Members aren't always informed by Humana if they miss a signature either. Hang in their CHEs, we love you

I’m west coast so recorded consent isn’t always available in our time zone. Previous coach used to tell us how expensive sending out PHI form was for Humana, like I care? Maybe stop sending out the 10,000 other things members don’t want a month?

Always appreciate the CHEs. If I ask for something to be sent that turns out to be unavailable or no longer approved (not their fault), they always email me with other resources to send in place. Always upbeat and eager to help when i call for recorded ROIs. I know they make my job a little bit easier. Sorry you have not had a good experience. in every role you will find a couple who are rude or not up to snuff. I would think all these Rifs have weeded them out. Just look at these posts, you get your share of bad eggs in every position. Hang in there CHEs, we need you! Team work is the key!

Same CHE's who used to get pissy and send tasks back all of the time? Same CHE's who took weeks to get simple stuff done?

While the paper release of info form can take weeks to months to show up in the member's file, the recorded consent takes just minutes to do and appears instantly. It's awesome! I love this for my members.

What is recorded consent?

by

Post ID: @vge+RFxL1qG

Recorded consent I believe is only for HCCP. Yes CHEs can search for resources not found in Healthwise. Utilize them for that! They can also mail out emergency procedure into such as what to have at home in case of natural disasters and evacuation procedures. Fall prevention, some exercises, etc. Approved resources outside of Healthwise are limited but they are the experts!

Love cHEs Lots of great resources out there we don’t have time to search for

Also, I think the CHEs can send out info from sources beyond Healthwise. Please, any CHE that reads this, correct me if I’m wrong. So, HCMs, if HW doesn’t have the info you want your member to have, the CHEs will use their awesome skills to find info elsewhere. With going hourly, there is no time to do anything but meet metrics. Lets, tasks our CHEs for info outside of HW as much as we can. Again, CHEs correct me if I’m wrong.

You guys are awesome. In the past, I have had some of you IM me with messages like, “is this what you had in mind for your member’s health condition?” and going the extra mile. You rock.
