I wonder if Sears Holdings is now on the cusp of becoming a real retailer once again now that the chain has been downsized. First stabilization then growth? Go into Kmart and there are real products, real promotions, real zeal. It seems that Kmart is having some much needed life and branding injected into it. The fact is that Kmart is not Walmart or Target, it's Kmart and there is reason to visit a Kmart because they have products that you just don't find elsewhere. They also serve a lot of communities that aren't served by others.

@3gcw lol, what?? I seriously doubt most Sears/Kmart employees are college grads. And I know a huge percentage of the remaining Sears/Kmart customer base is Hispanic.
I would rather shop at Walmart or amazon. They are good to employees and welcomes different types of people. Sears employees are college grads white and lacks real experience.
Sears will slowly close. They lack innovation for years. Their hiring is terrible and corporate lacks diversity and minorities. Good luck catching up! This close minded company wants all the same type of people and lacks any sort of diversity which shows why the company is dying! Trying to be another another Amazon and everyone is way beyond sears. Good luck to this lack of diverse company!! All the people from sears at other companies are the same and slowly hurt the companies they are at now due to the lack of what’s really going on in retail!

You need to seek some mental help. All the Kmart stores I have seen are half empty with little new merchandise coming in..and the stuff that is coming in is off-brand Chinese junk as most name brand suppliers have cut off ties with Sears/Kmart.
