Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Oracle will Fade into Nothingness after the 2018 Layoffs End

After this years layoffs wrap up, oracle will Co tongue to either and fade. LE will be almost 75, MH is pushing 65 and there’s no one with any real talent to taje the helm. The products are as feeble as the leaders. Their client server software has been haphazardly morphed into SaaS. As another poster aptly put, this software is nowhere near world-class or enterprise ready. Oracle sales will continue to slip; acquisitions will show up as blips on the sales performance radar screen.

In the next five - 10 years Oracle will simply fade away into nothingness. Big enterprise accounts will slowly Decouple themselves away from Oracle and the DB choosing more modern SaaS products and DB technologies from other vendors. It’s not a question of if, but when. It’s happening now. Slowly, steadily.

Yes, Oracle has an incredibly bad reputation. I had a recruiter laugh at me when they found I out I came from Oracle. Oracle is the country club! It's automatically assumed you are lazy and incompetent, by the recruiters out there. It's where people go to do nothing but s--- up to their managers.

After 20 some years working for Oracle and drinking the Oracle cool-aid, my eyes were opened. Speaking with many recruiters, people and many companies, very few people like or have any respect for Oracle and its cloud so called offer. RIP ORACLE... The day of reckoning - SOON!!! HA, HA, HA!!!

Not sure what you mean by RB, though.

Apparently refers to the fictitious Ryan Bingham character played by George C. in the movie “Up In The Air”.

@RNlpa7B-7nsb I get what you're saying. Something is stirring for March 1. But those affected will fade into "nothingness" only in this world of Oracle. Better opportunities are waiting for them outside of Oracle. Not sure what you mean by RB, though.

Now is cubicle cleanout time. The inevitable is coming. about 5 days to go. Many employees will fade into nothingness. RB is almost here.

Fading into nothingness is pretty much the eventual fate of most firms, especially in tech.

Don't worry, OP. I am a young, dynamic, versatile person, and I alone can take care of Oracle after LE, MH, SC, and all top executives.
