Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Only a few days left...How is everyone holding up?

Curious how everyone is holding up? This roller coaster ride is almost done. Anyone have any more issues with their coach threatening them with no severance?

Yes, they could have used lunch or break time, but in the meetings we were told that our supervisors should allow this time to reach out to them. If they don't want us doing it while at work, then don't say it's ok and then go back on your word.

Once again, the inconsistency of a wishy washy company who do not communicate clearly but in symbols and smoke signals.

RXpXS1M-gbj Well to be fair, you could have called during your lunch or break. That's what you would be expected to do at any other job. The coaches, especially RIFd ones have additional things they have to do before leaving, hence the DND on her skype. As for threatening firing, that's just not right unless you are truly slacking.

@RXpXS1M-gxa no, the only people being looked at are the RIF associates. It appears this is coming from the COM as the coaches I am aware of doing this are all under the same COM and the emails all came in the same day.

I was threatened for using the employment resources provided to us. I was on a call with right management and my coach told me that was not approved time during working hours, I tried to explain to her they were only available during buisness hours. Her response? That it wasn't her problem, I was expected to do this job and any job search activities I participated in were to be done on my own time. I spent 15 minutes on this call, that's all. The real kicker is she's also impacted and has made it a point to be unavailable to us at all times. She's logs on in the morning and immediately changes her Skype status to do not disturb. So I'm being threatened for not giving 110% while she does nothing.

Are the non-RIFd people getting the same threat? We all know some weeks our MPS may fluctuate depending on participation of members. I don't think this is exactly fair.

Several coaches have made threats over the last few days that if the mps score wasn't "exceptional" the next time it is released, those associates will be fired immediately
