Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Discirimination

I love how some will get 60 days and others told that day is their last...

How ethical is that?

Discriminatory if ask me...

How is it arrogance to say there is no discrimination. I was let go last round and got to leave early. I collected my pay for the 60 days. I was relieved for early release because it was hard to pretend. A friend of mine was cut in Round 2 and had to work longer. Neither of us felt discriminated against. It's a sh$tshow for everyone. You don't need to go off on someone and hope karma gets them. For all you know it's a PHC expecting to be RIFd.

There is no discrimination. I know tensions are high right now but if there is no job left to why make you work. It's a gift to be paid to look for work. Some may have to stay and finish up work. Chances are all will be released before the 60 day mark. I look at it as a great thing to leave early! There is no discrimination involved.

Discriminatory in what way. Who or what is the discrimination aimed at? End of program, end of job.

What last poster said is correct. If paid early release is discrimination, I hope they choose me to discriminate against!!

Everyone gets 60 days but some are released early, with pay. They did that in the last 4 layoffs
