Buy some chickens ? I don’t know how to respond to this post! Lol
You say you won’t shop at Walmart or Sam’s any longer......good! If you have an issue with this, all companies do the same thing, so plant you a garden, buy you some chickens and you won’t have to shop any longer.....haters like you need to get a life and find better use of your time, I’m sure your a Democrat on food stamps
History will repeat its self and eventually the top dog will fall. I believe we are seeing that right now. If you haven't figured it out Wal-mart cares about one thing and that is the Shareholders. Keeping them happy is priority number one.
To who ever called the poster a mentally ill criminal because there happy about these firings, you obviously never experienced what alot of these comangers are like, theres lots of good ones but the bad ones got what they deserved
No I am not an employee of Walmart but something tells me your a fired employee probably criminal in nature or too lazy to work. Anybody that finds these layoffs deserving is mental ill
The point is that 3500 co managers were laid off and most of these were people following the corporate dream. Starting their careers 15 plus years ago went to the Walmart Academy and then were transferred from state to state, store to store to get to a co managers position and then they are all laid off! Walmart corporate tax was cut from 30% to 21% and what did they do they cut jobs with saleried employees who maid $60,000 or more. This makes me physically sick because retail is a hard job! Cutting the his many jobs in one area of management is in my opinion age discrimination. Walmart was not going under and what they have will effect our economy.
Are you speaking in code? The last post is ridiculously written. Be clear on what you are saying and you may have a good point.
Walmart is not the cheapest store. Watch your sales and they are not that great! When stand up for something you believe in because people are strangers! Then call people jerks! karma is a b--ch! These strangers as you call them are also the jury pool your peers are pulled from when your a-- is in trouble. Obviously you don’t understand what it takes to be transferred from state to state to train and different level stores. This is where the experience in becoming a store manager and being a good manager. There are Trolls on here just to cause a lot pain and don’t care. Stay hidden behind your computer and who never work.
Apparently someone hasn't been screwed over enough..so I'm glad people's misfortunes cause you entertainment!! When you're sitting in a place like this then you can entertain yourself wondering how you're going to pay your bills. It's not unheard of for people to support "strangers" as you call them, we like to call it humanity. I figure you wouldn't understand that because you are clearly selfish. Good luck at life. Jerk.
Walmart’s quality of food is not great. You should look at other stores and judge for yourself.
Walmart can’t compete with Kroger Market place or HEB. The grocery area is so dated. Not sure why anyone would shop there unless they had no choice. I haven’t stepped inside one over a year.
Sorry to say but in most cases Walmart is no longer the cheapest. Not a huge fan of amazon because of how they also treat their workers but in most cases they are cheaper than walmart and if you have prime free 2 day ( that is usually 2 days unlike walmarts 2 day shipping that always seems to take a week or more) no min spend. As for food in most cases local grocery stores have similar if not better prices. Walmart got everyone to believe they have the lowest prices (they pulled a best buy and raised prices once the perception was they had the lowest price and like best buy it is biting them in the a-- as people figure it out).
I've dialed back my Wal-Mart shopping by probably 70% over the last 5-8 years because, not only are most of their inventory not the cheapest around, they're not even particularly competitive. People are still coming in (tho not in the record numbers they were even 10 years ago) mostly because of long patterned habit.
That's ending. That's what we're witnessing right now, a paradigm shift of people shopping on line...and Wal-Mart was no prepared
so, let me get this straight- people are going to stop shopping at Walmart, because a whole lot of people they don't know have lost their current positions within the company- so, for these strangers, you're going to go out and pay more for products- that in turn is going to make sales decrease, and thus, more jobs to be eliminated- you people really do entertain me.
Thank You, from a former CO ..
Me either!
