Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Here we go again

Was in a meeting where we were warned that project funding is going to be cut in the form of cuts/elimination of Management Reserve. I guarantee that this is just the beginning. Imagine - this during an ecomnomic upturn, huge tax break, exessive cash flow, and huge profit margins.

If this doesn’t prove that ALT is nothing but greasy greedy pigs, then I don’t know what would.

I’d love to punch out, but am just too close to retirement. Hang in there folks.

@2tlu And you would be wrong. There have been quite a few excellent individual contributors, mid-level managers, and higher level directors/VPs who have left the company over the past 2+ years who had enough of the lack of trust, RIFs and layoffs, elimination of benefits, forced "elbow" ranking of some of their solidly performing team members, and lack of empowerment (top driven decision making). Trust me, more will follow.

I have been here for 3 yrs and love my job and management. I find that those who complain are the workers that s--- at there job.

This is my testimony that I am MUCH secure and happier with my new employer.

I already withdrew all Honeyhell saving plan to be transferred to my new employer's saving plan.

Never been that happier. The sun is shining brighter much more those days now,

Are projects making on their times? My bet's on NOPE. LOL!

They started telling Homes and TS employees who is going and who is not. They are also telling them they are at risk of being "Displaced" during the transition....WTF does this mean?

WOW...shocking. You could change the date on this post to last year, the year before, the year before that etc etc and it would be just as relevant. THis is the Same BS we have been dealing with for years.
