IBM's Tax Scam Cut

This great new website is keeping track of what corporations are doing with their massive tax scam money (and they thank you very much for the generosity out of your paychecks, as does Scott Pruit and the rest of the evil cabal). They haven't posted IBM's info yet, but we know where the money is going (cough, Ginni & pals) and where it's not going (employees, who are being fired en mass). Keep an eye on it, I'm sure they'll put IBM's info up soon. Disgusting.

The tax cut = $100+ extra each check

IBM pay increases = $0

My gripe is more with IBM vs the current administration.

Wow. Looks like 1zsl and 1llb triggered a few liberal snowflakes. I also received a tax cut, which is far better than anything I received under the previous administration. Maybe y’all should take the political crap elsewhere. If you don’t want your “crumbs” then I’ll take them. Fools.

Enjoy the crumbs. To finance the "tax cut" our deficit will soar to 1 trillion dollars by 2020. That's hard analysis by the CBO. By then your "tax cut" will be long gone and guess what's going to happen to deal with the crisis we'll be in? Taxes will shoot through the roof, and say goodbye to your social security and medicare if you ever planned on collecting, after paying in your whole life.

You got a small, temporary tax cut to make you "happy" and make you think you "got something". And in fact, you don't know if you got a tax cut until you do your taxes next year this time. Many folks might be surprised to find out they have to pay in because they didn't pay in enough. It's a scam, you're being played with a few crumbs while bushels full of your tax money go to the wealthiest people in this country. Meanwhile, the pigs in the trough are throwing our tax money around on lavish travel for their families, ridiculously expensive furniture, anything they can blow it on. Wake up!

  • First line manager to boss: "We have this fabulous contractor who has worked 12-hour days without taking lunch to bring up to date an out-of-date document. She has been vetted, and works extremely well with everyone on the team, and we really want to put her on staff."

  • Boss: "How old is she?"

  • Manager: "I really don't know. She has a very attractive picture in Blue Pages."

  • Boss: "Well, it might be an old picture. I will have to spend $1200 or so to fly down there and look at her to see if I can assess her real age."

  • Manager: "I don't see why that matters. She has done such a fabulous job."

  • Boss: "Well, it states in the 1930 IBM Boss's handbook that we can't employ anyone who has sagging skin. And I have to go by the handbook, you know."

  • Manager: "But she is head and shoulders above the person we would have to put into that job."

  • Boss: "But how old is that one?"

  • Manager: "Not sure, but she looks about 35."

  • Boss: "That's more like it. We can't employ people who might impact our health insurance, you know, even though we have billions of dollars. Plus, she might have sagging skin."
