So much bitterness here, theres a lot of hard working dedicated people that form relationships with there team members. Its only natural human behavior to foster good relationship with people that we spend 10+ hours a day with!
Invite boss family and co workers home for a barbecue or party. Congratulations if they do come. Your job is safe FOREVER.
Going on walk with your boss works too. Bad mouth your teammates. You'll be promoted & kept safe during times like this.
Totally. Most directors follow what OP say , nod your head always and you get to stay in Q forever . Never disagree or raise a concern. If you have a concern problem is with you. It is forgotten that you had the courage to talk.
Unfortunately, OP is correct. I became an engineer for the challanging work, but instead I got corporate america. Remeber that qcom is not unique, all of corporate america operates as OP has indicated
